The Library of Self brought together painting, photography, and sculpture as a single perceptual environment exploring memory, identity, and the ways a life is continually interpreted and reconstructed. Situated within the architecture of a historic library—a place devoted to preserving and transmitting knowledge—the exhibition turned the act of reading inward.

The title imagines the self not as a fixed volume with a definitive narrative, but as a living archive: layered, fragmented, and continually revised by experience. Images and objects functioned as traces within this archive, holding personal and collective histories while opening passages between what is remembered, inherited, concealed, and transformed.

Arranged in spatial dialogue, the works encouraged visitors to move slowly between distinct forms and materials. Shifts in scale, surface, reflection, and repetition interrupted habitual looking and made attention part of the exhibition itself. Rather than offering a singular account of identity, The Library of Self invited viewers to encounter the self as an unfinished collection—one shaped through memory, perception, and the continuous act of becoming.
